The 21st federal attorney-general’s Security in Government conference was held in Canberra
16-19 September, attracting 410 delegates and 200 exhibitors. The conference reaffirmed
the view that Australia still faces an uncertain strategic environment and the threat of
terrorism - while receding – has by no means disappeared, as
